Jacquelyn Wanes
About
Jacquelyn Wanes is an attorney at the Law Offices of Ali Taheripour who works with our Civil Litigation and Pre-litigation departments to deliver high-quality representation for our clients. She brings dedication, skill, and zealous advocacy to every case she handles.
Ms. Wanes received her bachelor's degree from UC Santa Barbara in sociology with a minor in history. She later earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of West Los Angeles. During her time there, she distinguished herself both academically and in competitive advocacy. Specifically, Ms. Wanes earned her place on the Dean's List and graduated Cum Laude. She also served on both the Honors Moot Court and Mock Trial teams and was recognized as Best Advocate in the 2024 San Fernando Valley Bar Association Mock Trial Competition.
Parallel to her work in the legal field, Ms. Wanes continues to pursue her love for the education of law. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of West Los Angeles, her alma mater. Passionate about mentorship, she actively supports her students and provides guidance on the legal profession outside the classroom.
Ms. Wanes utilizes a client-centered approach, tailoring every case to our client’s distinct needs. She is bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ms. Wanes is dedicated to providing effective and thoughtful representation, and she plays an integral role in guiding clients through all stages of the legal process.
